Sensory Friendly Groundwork Class

Our 1-hour Sensory-Friendly Groundwork Class at HorsePower is designed for children ages 5 to 10 of all abilities who may have physical limitations preventing them from riding but still want to experience the therapeutic benefits of working with horses.

This engaging, hands-on session focuses on grooming, bonding, and groundwork activities, providing participants with valuable physical, emotional, and cognitive stimulation in a supportive and inclusive environment. Under the guidance of our trained staff and dedicated volunteers, children will have the opportunity to connect with a horse, engage in calming sensory experiences, and build confidence through structured activities tailored to their individual needs.

This class is perfect for young participants looking to experience the joy and healing power of horses without the need to ride. Join us for a unique and meaningful experience where every child can find connection, confidence, and comfort through the magic of horse-human interaction. Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign waivers and pay.

Catch Me If You Can: Developmental Support for Babies

Join us for a parent education class for parents with babies 10 to 15 months old! Parents will learn and explore strategies to support development of crawling, walking, and climbing. Our skilled therapists will also provide education on how to assist a fearless child who is always on the move as well as the child who is too cautious or fearful to explore.

It is recommended that children can sit unassisted to participate in this class.

Do you have a regular following that is active in the child community? Host a private event where Kristin focuses on a topic to educate your clients and customers. The format is typically a 30-minute session followed by Q&A. Private consultations are available by request.

Specific for non-profits focused on children

In an hour or less, learn about a topic of your choice. Whether it’s our clinical expertise, identifying solutions to frequented problems, or a broad spectrum of topics, we are happy to help your organization grow and better understand children.

Small Group Classes

Nail down a theme and recruit 6 children or less to focus on development, enhance skills and have a blast while doing it!
