Cash-based Benefits

Parents or guardians will fill out a digital questionnaire through PtEverywhere before arriving. As you arrive at Move U, our pediatric occupational therapists will greet you and show you around Move U. As the evaluation begins, we invite child and parent/guardian to participate. At the start, we will ask a series of questions to get to know your child, their struggles, and how this impacts your family/home life. Think of the evaluation as your child introducing themselves to our team. Most children find this to be very playful and fun. The child may not even realize the evaluation is happening.

Once the evaluation is complete, the therapist will provide a thorough summary of their findings. Next, a plan will be recommended from our team to best support your child’s skillset and the family’s well-being goals. We can also make recommendations as to which treatment package aligns best with your child’s plan of care.

Accepted payment methods include cash, check, card, HSA or FSA. We also offer installment options to help break the payment up over time.

We do this with the good intention of focusing on your treatment needs rather than abiding by what insurance companies think is best for a broad audience. Our goal is to support your needs as our clients as best as we can.

Cash-based therapy allows us to focus on your child’s needs. It enables us to provide high-quality 1:1 care without insurance restrictions or regulations limiting us on what services we can provide. We pride ourselves on purposeful treatment backed by years of education and experience. Our therapists are certified in treatments that no one else in the region can provide. Not to mention, we don’t have to worry about being approved for our services. With typical insurance-based assessments ranging from $350 to $500 and treatments at $250 to $400 a session, costs can add up quickly. Hence, our flat rate prices and we offer treatment packages at a discounted rate. As a result, our flat rate for an evaluation and subsequent treatments can be significantly cheaper than the average insurance-based evaluation and treatment.
